Benin: Transhumance in the commune of Bonou by ODD TV

The commune of Bonou, like the other communes in the valley, experiences the phenomenon of transhumance every year and sees its agricultural potential threatened.

Transhumance generates conflicts that lead to loss of human life and material damage in some communes of Benin. Situations that have led the Beninese government to take steps to prevent and better manage conflicts between farmers and herders.

ODD TV went to #Bonou to inquire about the challenges to be met at the local level in the prevention and management of conflicts that arise from the non-compliance with the provisions taken by the government by certain breeders.
