Malaria

Malaria is a deadly disease. Caused by parasites that transmit to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes, it is the leading cause of infant mortality in Benin. 

Children under 5, as well as pregnant women are the main victims. Today, thanks to the intense efforts made by the government, there is some improvement.
